BorsoPleat-HF Filter cartridges are designed for applications requiring a very high flow rate. These High Flow Filtercartridges are equally suitable for use as pre-filterscartridge or final polishing in application. The use of a spacer mesh as an upstream pleat support means that fluid flow is uniform across the entire surface of the filter medium. The mesh holds the flow channels open thereby maximising dirt holding capacity and minimising pressure drops across the filters.

High flow filter cartridges
The BorsoPleat-High Flow cartridges combine the advantages of a bag filter – high dirt-holding capacity and high flow rate – with the large surface area of a pleated cartridge. This ensures excellent flow rates of up to 110 m³/h. They are the perfect solution for industries ranging from local water authorities to soft drink manufacturers, or any application requiring the filtration of large liquid volumes with high efficiency and low pressure drop.
Each cartridge is manufactured from food-contact compliant materials that meet FDA standards, making them ideal for use in municipal water supply as well as the food and beverage industry.
Thanks to their multi-layered, graded pore structure, BorsoPleat-High Flow cartridges retain more dirt, extending the cartridge’s service life. High Flow cartridges also require far less maintenance than other cartridge solutions. A single 6-inch diameter High Flow cartridge can replace multiple smaller cartridges – up to 63 × 10-inch pleated cartridges, equivalent to the flow of one 60-inch High Flow.
Two media options are available:
Polypropylene High Flow – 99.8% efficiency, excellent chemical compatibility, and extremely high flow rates at operating temperatures up to 82 °C.
Fiberglass High Flow – absolute efficiency of 99.98%, with even lower pressure drop, no compromise on flow rate, and the ability to operate at temperatures up to 121 °C.
