Sanitary Filter Bag Housing

The Sanitary Filter Bag Housings from Van Borselen Filters are designed for reliable and hygienic filtration processes. Thanks to their high-quality finish and wide range of configuration options, these housings are suitable for applications where cleanability, durability and process reliability are essential.

The housings are available for bag size 1 and bag size 2 and can be supplied with different closure systems, including bolted lid closure or V-band clamp designs. Versions with or without legs are available, depending on the installation requirements. All housings are manufactured from Stainless Steel 316/ 1.4404 stainless steel and mechanically polished to achieve an internal surface roughness of Ra < 0.8 µm.

These sanitary bag filter housings comply with PED 2014/68/UE and are designed according to AD 2000 Merkblatt standards. The sealing materials comply with EU 1935/2004, FDA and USP Class VI requirements. Depending on the configuration, working pressures up to 18 bar are possible.

A wide range of accessories is available, including venting solutions, sampling valves, sight glasses, safety valves and trolley-mounted filtration units. Different basket filter options are also available, including standard and backflushable designs with micron ratings from 5 µm up to 2000 µm.
