The bag filter housings from Van Borselen Filters are designed for reliable, efficient and hygienic liquid filtration. Thanks to their high-quality design and wide range of configuration options, these filter housings are suitable for various filtration processes where cleanability, durability and process reliability are essential.
The filter housings are available in multiple configurations, including bolted lid closure and V-clamp designs, with or without legs. Various connection types are available, such as DIN 11851, DIN 11864, TC Clamp and flange connections. This allows the sanitary bag filter housings to be easily integrated into existing process installations.
All housings are manufactured from high-quality AISI 316L stainless steel and mechanically polished for a hygienic finish. The internal surface roughness of Ra < 0.8 µm ensures excellent cleanability and controlled filtration performance. The housings are available for bag size 1 and bag size 2 filter bags.
Depending on the configuration, working pressures up to 18 bar are possible. The sanitary housings are designed according to PED 2014/68/UE and AD 2000 Merkblatt standards. In addition, the sealing materials comply with EU 1935/2004, FDA and USP Class VI requirements.
For additional flexibility, various accessories are available, including venting solutions, sight glasses, sampling valves, safety valves and mobile trolley-mounted filtration systems. Different basket filter options are also available, including standard and backflushable designs with micron ratings from 5 µm up to 2000 µm.
The sanitary bag filter housings can be combined with different filter bags, including polypropylene, polyester, high-efficiency and absolute filter bags, depending on the required filtration level and process conditions.
