Calculator specificaties

Step 1: Select your unit preference

  • American: US Standard Units

  • European: Metric

Step 2: Enter process data

  • Flow rate: The number of gallons or liters per minute you want to filter.

  • Specific gravity: If unknown, enter 1.

  • Viscosity (cps): Water = 1 cps. Ketchup = 3,000 cps. Honey = 10,000 cps. If unknown, enter 1.

  • Pipe I.D.: Enter the internal diameter of the piping in centimeters or inches.
    Example: a common Pipe I.D. is 2 inches / 5 cm.

Step 3: Enter the properties of the desired filter bags

    • Felt: typically Polypropylene or Polyester

    • Mesh: typically Nylon

    • Microfiber

    Select the desired filtration rating (micron)

    Select the desired filter bag size

    • #1: Diameter 18 cm, length 43 cm (7” / 17”)

    • #2: Diameter 18 cm, length 81 cm (7” / 32”)

    • #3: Diameter 10.4 cm, length 23 cm (4” / 9”)

    • #4: Diameter 10.4 cm, length 36 cm (4” / 14”)

  • Size 2 requires the fewest filter bags. Size 3 requires the most filter bags.
