Filtrox Fibrafix AF

Fibrafix® AF filter sheets are high-quality depth filters manufactured under controlled conditions. The sheets are composed of purified and bleached cellulose from sustainable sources, natural filter aids, and a wet strength agent.

Fibrafix® AF is available in all standard sizes and custom formats. The product range covers a wide spectrum of retention levels, from coarse filtration (e.g. AF 09, AF 11) to sterile filtration (AF 110 to AF 140), with retention rates ranging from 10.0 µm to 0.2 µm.

Specific grades such as AF 110, 120, 130, and 140 offer proven bacterial retention against Serratia marcescens, with log reduction values (LRV) from >5 to >8, depending on the grade.

The maximum differential pressure is 2.5 bar, and 1.5 bar for sterile filter sheets. Recommended rinsing volume is 50 L/m². Sterilization is possible with hot water at 85 °C or steam at 125 °C.
