Purafix CH

PURAFIX® CH depth filter sheets are high-purity filtration media manufactured under strictly controlled conditions. They are made of purified and bleached cellulose from sustainable sources, natural filter aids, and a wet strength agent. With low levels of extractable endotoxins (<0.125 EU/mL) and ions, these sheets are ideal for applications demanding the highest levels of product purity.

PURAFIX® CH is available in all standard sizes and offers a wide retention range, from coarse (15.0 µm) to sterile filtration (0.04 µm). The sterile grades (CH 110 to CH 150) offer validated bacterial retention, with log reduction values up to >8 against Serratia marcescens and Brevundimonas diminuta.

The maximum differential pressure is 2.5 bar, and 1.2 – 1.5 bar for sterile filter sheets. The recommended rinsing volume is 50 L/m², and sterilization can be performed using water (85 °C) or steam (125 °C).
